New Home and Upcoming Sale...
We found a new home right-down-the-street!
Pinnell Square in Corinth is our new stomping grounds. We are accepting new estate sales in now and have planned a 3 family sale the first part of June. This is going to be amazing!
Our new location is by appointment and event only. We no longer have a full-time retail location and have grown our estate business to amazing heights!
Next Estate Sale is in Allen on May 11th and 10th (9-5). We are on our way today to take pictures and get some details to share with you!

WOW sale in Justin and WOO HOO sale coming in Allen
WOW sale in Justin this weekend...
We have been very busy little piggies! Boy do we have another great sale for your shopping and viewing pleasure. It is always a treat getting to play in other peoples homes! And this lovely home is as clean as they come. Just a few miles west of Justin on 407 (lovely little drive), inside a gorgeous home, await your next fun sale.
All of us have worked hard getting this sale ready to go for you to come and buy it all. We even had the pleasure of finding a little goat that Jessica was trying to take home.
This two day sale begins at 9am and ends at 5:00pm sharp. Markdowns start Saturday at noon (25%) and 50% off at 2:00. If I am having fun, then we go 75% off most items at 4pm. No early markdowns as I get chewed out if I do. So let's keep it fair!!

That's right, we are going East to host another super great sale in another beautiful home in Allen. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for details for this May 11-12 sale!

Intimate Estate Sale Coming Soon!!!!
Seems as if I have been gone for a very long time. Have had a number of family needs come up and and I am very blessed to be able to be there for them. All is well right now and we are back with another Estate Sale in McKinney this next weekend.
Our next intimate sale is One Day only, 9-5 in lovely McKinney, TX. We will be holding tight with our pricing schedule and all items will be reduced to 75% off by the time we shut down at 5pm sharp. 9am-noon all items are priced as marked
Noon -2 all items 25% off original price
2-4 all items 50% off original price
4-5 all items 75% off original price
There will be no holds at this sale and ALL items have to be removed that day by 5pm.

AN AUCTION IS BORN!
It is time! Our first auction is this Saturday and the place is packed with antiques, collectibles, home decor, china, silver and so much more.
As some of you know, we have been looking for a new place for some time now and no luck. We will host our first two auctions here at our When Pigs Fly Shop inside the Golden Triangle Mall.
We hope you can come and play with us. Jonna with My Repretoire will be here painting faces and brining in some amazing home made goodies.
Those of you who have never attended a public auction, here is your chance. We will have plenty of folks here to show you the ropes. We promise it to be a fun and exciting time.

Excited to finalize our first Auction date to liquidate about half the items in the shop. March 10th, 10am begins our first joint venture and we are starting with our own items.

Final Two Day Event in the Mall
The Final Event is almost here. While it is bitter-sweet, it is also a very hectic and exciting time as we move forward.
February 10th and 11th, from 10am-7pm the Piggy Will Be Flying! Join us for 30% off* most items in the shop.

Display items negotiable
The more you buy, the better your deal.
Jonna with 'My Repertoire' will be here both days from 10-2 offering her amazing face painting. $3 for one or $5 for two. Bring the kiddos and get their favorite item painted on! For that matter, let's get Mom and Dad painted up! Think I will challenge her to paint my Piggy for me!
We've been asked why we are closing many times and for those who don't know, we are moving due to changes in mall format. The new owners of the mall are doing major renovations and we will not fit into the $$$ plan. Now, we are also seeking our own location and this seemed to be the perfect time to make that transition as well. Only draw back is we are closed full time and have not found our new home yet!!!

Peaceful Easy Feeling.....Estate Sale
Peaceful, Easy-Feeling Sale. . ..
About a month ago I met with a young lady who had recently lost her Dad. No matter our age, losing a parent is devastating and this young woman is in her 20's. We had a nice visit in the home she had been raised in with her Dad. It was her responsibility to make the home ready to sell and find a way to share the remaining home décor and furniture that she could not take with her. As we chatted, it was apparent in her words and from all the remodeling in the home that she and her husband were working very hard. They worked very hard to bring her childhood home to like-new condition to honor her Dad and his memory.
She took me to the garage which was filled with items he had stored for many years. Once she had time to go through all the memories she needed to keep, she had most of the remainder brought to my shop. As some of you know, I like to play music that reflects the lives of the person or persons we host sales for. Her request was that we play 'Peaceful Easy Feeling' by The Eagles in his honor. We hope you stop by.

This sale will also include many items collected from past estate sales as well as collection of display pieces.

Estate Sale and February Event
Estate Sale Jan 13-14
Our last Estate Sale at our SOLD IN 168 location is NOW. Sorry for the late update. We are making deals both days all day from 10-6. This is a liquidation of some display items as well.

First/Last Event
We were informed yesterday that the new mall owners do not want us using our space for monthly events and February is the first and last one. They want us full-time in our space and would allow us to stay if opened mall hours. Since we can't do that, we will not be hosting anymore events after February.
What this means to you, is the ability to come say goodbye to our mall location, buy some wonderful items as well as participate in our one and only estate sale at WHEN PIGS FLY. That's right!!! It is going to be an amazing couple of days!
We will continue liquidating items we do not want to to move to our new home (to be determined).
Our online shop is still being created, we are still viewing properties and some new opportunites have also popped up. In addition, our Estate Sale business is growing even larger. All that is happening is for the best and we have been preparing.

Meeting Someone Just Like Me
It isn't often I meet someone who is almost a genetic match to my personality. Actually, I had never met anyone who was until I met Shannon.
Shannon came into my shop quite some time back and asked me to consign some lovely antiques for her and her husband. I instantly liked her warm and open personality, as well as her beautiful red hair and smile.
Some of you may remember the wonderful 18th century hutch/buffet at the front of the shop we sold a few months back. That beautiful antique as well as others found new homes and we were proud to foster them until they moved on. These items were Shannon's.
Since my initial meeting with Shannon, I have gotten to meet her sisters, mom, husband, children, nieces and nephews. And to my delight, have been honored to visit with her several times. Each time we visited, more and more of our similarities were unraveling and I kept being intrigued to know more about her. Shannon is 33, much younger than myself and while I see myself in her at that age, I also see her as an older soul too.
People come and go from our lives daily and it is not often I find such a caring person who is as open a book as I am.
What I will take from her, is what I have been doing this past year and a half:
Believe in your dream and know that you succeed......

A New Year!!!
First off, Happy New Year!!!
So many changes occur year round, yet we truly are making some HUGE changes the 1st of 2012. Our Shoppe location is now open once a month, 2nd Friday and Saturday beginning in February; Our Estate Sale business is booming and we are working on our Auction services; A new location is being hunted daily.
My original goal has not changed, it is however blossoming into something even bigger than I dreamed. My only hope is that you all stay with us as we support each other now and in the future.
